Job summary

HSBC in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Quantitative Developer with a strong C++ background to join the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities desk. This hybrid role offers collaboration across IT and front office to build and enhance quant libraries and APIs.

You will work with minimal guidance to deliver high-quality software, participate in code reviews, and help improve testing frameworks. A degree in math finance or CS and 6–10 years of development experience are required.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of development experience using C++.
• 4–6 years working as a Quantitative Developer in finance or trading.
• Degree in mathematical finance, computer science or mathematics.
• Proficient in code versioning tools such as GIT, SVN.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team-oriented.
• Focused on delivering high-quality results on time.

• Expertise in software product development
• Proficient in code versioning tools such as GIT, SVN etc.
• Strong written, verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Focused on delivering high-quality results on time.
