We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Privacy Office Compliance Manager to manage the operations of the privacy team, ensuring that all processes and procedures are efficient, with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of privacy regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operational Maintenance: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Privacy Office, including workflow, privacy framework, standards, policies, and technology management.
- Compliance Management: Support the implementation of all relevant privacy laws and regulations, including DPDP, GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy standards by enhancing the global privacy framework and controls.
- Project management: Manage large privacy implementations for regional privacy compliance and global tools.
- Automation: Drive automation and technology for privacy solutions to increase efficiency and compliance maturity.
- Risk Management: Develop, implement, and maintain a privacy risk framework through regular assessments and audits.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure privacy compliance across the organization.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and design privacy training programs and communication campaigns to promote a culture of privacy awareness.
- Reporting & Metrics: Build metrics and dashboards to provide regular reports on privacy compliance and operational performance to C-level.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in privacy operations, compliance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations.
- Proven project management skills and solid self-starter capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong networking skills, preferably in a multinational work environment.
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with One Trust or similar privacy management tools.
- Experience working in a multinational corporation or consultancy firm.
- Familiarity with privacy issues in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.
- Organizing skills and capacity to manage projects remotely.
