Job summary

SP Consultants seeks an AVP Finance to build a scalable, systems-driven finance function for a fast-growing dairy and F&B business. The role leads a 45-member team and works closely with the Founder to professionalise finance, oversee AOP, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.

Ideal candidate is CA qualified with 8-15 years of experience in FP&A, controllership and working capital management, and proficient in Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems such as SAP, D365, NetSuite or Tally.

About the Opportunity : Only CA candidates to apply

A profitable, fast-growing dairy and F&B business with a strong D2C and B2B presence is looking for an AVP Finance to build and strengthen its financial backbone for the next phase of growth.

The company operates with a lean, technology-enabled and highly automated model and is backed by a leading growth-equity investor. This is a high-ownership build role, working directly with the Founder.

The role will lead a team of 45 people and will have the opportunity to professionalise and scale the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the finance function end-to-end and build a scalable, systems-driven finance organisation.
• Lead and develop a 45 member finance team.
• Own AOP, budgeting, forecasting, month-end closure, P&L and variance analysis.
• Build robust MIS and management reporting for leadership, investors and the board.
• Automate reporting using Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Select and implement scalable ERP/accounting systems.
• Build and institutionalise SOPs across finance, procurement and operational interfaces.
• Own statutory compliance, audit readiness and financial controls.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, CAPEX and procurement finance.
• Partner with operations and category teams on unit economics, cost optimisation and margin management.
• Strengthen financial processes, controls and reporting as the business scales.

What We're Looking For

• CA / equivalent qualification with 8-15 years of progressive finance experience.
• Strong experience across Business Finance, FP&A and Controllership.
• Proven ownership of AOP, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close and P&L.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, D365, NetSuite or Tally.
• Strong Power BI, advanced Excel and MIS automation skills; SQL exposure is a plus.
• Experience in a high-growth, lean organisation where you have personally built or scaled processes.
• Experience in F&B, FMCG, dairy, D2C, manufacturing or agri-processing is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of working capital, margins, cost management and operational finance.
• Proven people-management experience, ideally leading a small, high-performing team.
• Comfortable working directly with the Founder, leadership team, investors and auditors.
• Pune-based candidates preferred, or candidates genuinely willing to relocate and work from Pune full-time.
