Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an AVP to lead payments operations from Pune, handling SWIFT MT103/MT202, ABA-like codes, NEFT/RTGS, and end-to-end payment flows. The role requires strong accuracy, timely processing, and client-facing responsiveness across global locations.

Experience in payments, banking, or treasury is advantageous, with flexibility to work shifts as required by business needs. The candidate will review SSIs and ensure proper processing of invoices and fund-related payments.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SWIFT messages MT103 and MT202.
• Knowledge of FED payments, internal transfers and FX transactions.
• Experience with manual payments/wires and end-to-end payment flows.
• Familiarity with SSIs, and identifying discrepancies.
• Ability to verify vendor invoices and process payments via banking portals.
• Experience with custody and fund-related bank invoice verification.
• Experience with payments for subscriptions and redemptions.
• Ability to prioritize payments by currency cut-off times.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player; able to work shifts.
• Prior Payments, Banking or Treasury operations experience is an advantage.
