Job summary

Labcorp in Bengaluru seeks an Assistant Team Manager, Data Programming to lead a data management team. The role focuses on supervising daily operations, ensuring optimal resource allocation, and enforcing SOPs while driving data management objectives across global teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a Life Science degree (or Computer Science) with 5+ years in clinical trials, including supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Computer Science; 5+ years in clinical trials with supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the team and ensure resources are allocated to meet project plans and service levels.
• Manage workload balance across the team and coordinate with global teams as needed.
• Ensure SOPs are consistently applied and reviewed; monitor progress toward Data Management objectives.
• Implement, monitor and report performance metrics; take corrective action where needed.
• Lead educational sessions; support development of team members and adherence to standards.
• Prepare and maintain metrics; represent the team in department meetings and liaise with stakeholders.

Labcorp is seeking an Assistant Team Manager, Data Programming to join our team at Brigade Twin Tower in Bengaluru.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the team members including but not limited to:
• Ensure appropriate resource allocation to successfully implement and execute project plans to achieve agreed upon service levels.
• Manage the workload balance within their team and participate in resource management across all global teams.
• Ensure the consistent implementation, use, and review of SOPs.
• Coordinate and monitor progress to ensure achievement of Data Management objectives.
• Implement, monitor, and report performance metrics and take corrective action when appropriate.
• Initiate educational sessions with team members and others as needed.
• Ensure consistency and implementation of global processes and procedures.
• Conduct timely performance review and monthly meetings to provide feedback to employees.
• Manage delivery KPIs and implementation and execution of initiatives defined by senior leadership.
• Coach and mentor team members for implementation of Individual Development Plans.
• Assisting the SME and manager in preparation and maintenance of metrics for the entire team.
• Represent team in department level meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• 5-years of experience in the clinical trials process and pharmaceutical industry including past 0-2 years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Manage day-to-day project-related activities with team members.
• Liaise with Global Stakeholders and Sponsor Specific Data Managers for on time delivery.
• Accountable for implementation, monitoring and reporting of performance metrics and for taking corrective action when appropriate.
• Accountable for the overall review of the clinical data specifications to ensure feasibility, making appropriate recommendations and advice to the stakeholders/customer and Labcorp personnel, including assigned Account Executive(s) (if applicable).
• Ensure the seamless integration of the global clinical data management services (if applicable).
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity.
• Monitor, track, manage and ensure resolution of all complaints, issues and concerns for assigned customers/stakeholders.
• Ensure all customer/stakeholders expectations are documented and acted upon when appropriate.
• Assist in communicating, measuring, and documenting adherence to standards for performance as set by the senior management.
• Other duties as assigned.
