Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in India seeks a finance professional to lead quarterly and annual closing, ensuring IND AS 2 inventory valuation and robust financial reporting. The role includes handling Tax Audits, statutory audits, and regulatory compliances, with experience in Hyperion and QlikView aiding period-end processes.

You will coordinate with the Legal team for contingent liabilities, maintain risk registers, and ensure timely tax filings and financial statements per CFD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in monthly/quarterly/yearly closing per CFD guidelines.
• Knowledge of IND AS 2 for inventory valuations.
• Exposure to statutory and internal audits and cost audits.
• Hands-on handling of tax provisions and filings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize quarterly and annual closing of books.
• Enforce proper accounting methods and policies; ensure quality control over financial reporting.
• Manage stock statements and interunit stock movements in Hyperion.
• Coordinate with Legal for contingent liability statements and risk register.
• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including GSTR filings.

Job description

Prepare and Finalization of Quarterly & Annual closing of Books of Accounts

Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles, quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Correct Product Costing and Valuation of Inventory as per IND AS 2

Review of Non-moving, slow moving and obsolete Inventory to ensure its timey and adequate disposal

Submission of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements Accounts.

To ensure timely closing books of accounts and submission of monthly / quarterly / yearly Financial Statement as per CFD guidelines, Chairman MIS (Qlik View) reports to management

Finalization of Financial Statements on Quarterly / Yearly basis through Hyperion system per IND AS and CFD guidelines.

Finalization of Stock Statement and Interunit Sale Purchase of Finished Goods in Hyperion monthly

Statutory and other Audits

Yearly Statutory Audit,

Internal Audits

Cost Audit

Tax Audit details along with Depreciation schedule as per Income Tax Act,

GST Audit and related compliances

Compliances

Manage and comply with local, state and Government reporting requirements and Tax fillings

To ensure adherence of Compliances related to Taxation

Maintain units Risk register and conducting quarterly Risk committee meetings

Updation & submission of Contingent liability statement in coordination with Legal Team

Direct Taxation

Preparation & submission of advance tax details

Tax Provision

Handling Direct Tax cases with Income Tax Department in coordination with CFD

Indirect Taxation

Ensure Timely Deposit of Taxes

Ensure correct filing of GSTR1 & GSTR 3B and Annual Returns GSTR 9 & 9 C

Review ITC Utilized and Availed so that Credit can be taken on monthly basis

Ensure Submission of Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS)
