Job summary

Digitide is seeking an Assistant Quality Analyst to uphold the highest standards in our food production processes. You will conduct inspections, lead a QA team, and collaborate with R&D to ensure formulations meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in the food industry (pulses preferred), a degree in Food Technology or Food Science, and strong MS Office skills. This role emphasizes data-driven decisions and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in the food industry, pulses focus preferred.
• FSMS knowledge and quality management systems are essential.

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Assistant Quality Analyst to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in our food production processes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections and audits of incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
• Implement and maintain a robust Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in quality control.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of quality assurance personnel.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in food quality and safety.
• Prepare and present comprehensive quality reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process optimization.
• Work closely with the R&D team to evaluate new product formulations and ensure they meet the required quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant food safety certifications and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the food industry, with a focus on pulses or similar products.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, including FSMS requirements, is essential.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
