Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a Senior Site Mechanical Engineer for on-site Mumbai projects. You will supervise installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical components while overseeing preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC and related systems.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with civil/electrical teams, and ensure compliance with safety and reporting requirements across the site.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years' experience in mixed-use projects incl. hotel, retail and commercial.
• On-site Mumbai location; full on-site role.

Responsabilidades

• Site Execution: Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical components at project sites.
• System Maintenance: Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of construction plant equipment, hoists, or HVAC/pumping systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose critical mechanical faults on-site to reduce downtime.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior site engineers and coordinate with civil or electrical teams.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to safety norms (ASHRAE, NBC, or OSHA) and sign off on logs.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Site Execution: Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical components at project sites.
• System Maintenance: Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of construction plant equipment, hoists, or installed HVAC/pumping systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose critical mechanical faults on-site to reduce operational downtime.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior site engineers and coordinate with civil or electrical teams.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to safety norms (ASHRAE, NBC, or OSHA standards) and sign off on service/inspection logs.

Core Skills Needed

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of hydraulics, rotating equipment, or HVAC design.
• Software Literacy: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Revit MEP for drawing reviews.
• Management: Strong vendor coordination, spare parts management, and client communication.

Qualification - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Years of Experience - 8-10 Years in mixed use project, hotel, retail commercial projects

Location: On-site –Mumbai, MH
