Bal Raksha Bharat (also known as Save the Children) is India's leading independent child rights organisation. It is a member of Save the Children movement that operates globally with the mission to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and achieve immediate and lasting changes in their lives. We are working towards three breakthroughs in how the world treats children by 2030:
We run programmes in the remotest corners of India and urban areas in the areas of Health & Nutrition, Education, Child Protection and Livelihood & Economic Wellbeing in order to facilitate quality education, healthcare and protection from harm and abuse and life‑saving aid during emergencies to children.
The Academic Support Fellow will look after the operations of the Girls Resource Centre (GRC) including supporting girls in the academic classes conducted at the centre to improve their learning level, devise teaching learning materials for interacting teaching at GRC, help in the proper usage of resource material given at GRC. She will also be responsible to maintain cordial relationship with other stakeholders such as School principal, teachers, Ward Counsellor. Also acts as Bal Raksha Bharat’s representative in the area to a broad range of external stakeholders including relevant government departments on issues related to strengthening child protection mechanism in the community. Work under strong thematic supervision of the Assistant Manager in order to maintain a consistent and coherent education strategy.

S/he would have self‑awareness and have really explore value system.
Graduate/Post Graduate in Social Science /Teaching/any discipline from a recognized university or college. Weightage will be given to female candidates with B.Ed./B. El. Ed. & teaching experience.
Minimum 3‑5 years’ experience in working with NGO/School/Communities and children and community people.
