Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching:

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
• Assess and grade student assignments, examinations, and projects.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects and theses.
• Provide academic counselling and mentorship to students.

2. Research:

• Engage in high-quality, innovative research in Computer Science and Engineering, particularly in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, Networks, Cybersecurity, and related domains.
• Publish research findings in reputed academic journals, conferences, and symposiums.
• Secure funding for research projects and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within and outside the University.

3. Academic Service:

• Contribute to the development of curriculum and academic programmes.
• Serve on departmental and University committees as required.
• Participate in departmental meetings and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs).
• Actively participate in departmental events, seminars, workshops, and academic activities.

4. Professional Development:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of Computer Science and Engineering.
• Participate in academic and professional conferences, workshops, and seminars.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement in teaching and research methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Computer Science are mandatory.
• Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field from a recognized University.
• Strong academic background with a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with a good academic record.

Experience:

• Prior teaching experience at the University level is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research in a specialized area of Computer Science.
• A strong publication record in high-quality academic journals and conferences is desirable.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of key areas in Computer Science and Engineering, including algorithms, data structures, computer networks, software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related subjects.
