Pearl Academy is looking for experienced and passionate professionals to join our academic team as Assistant/Associate Professor – Interior Design across our Mumbai and Bangalore campuses.

We are seeking design professionals and educators who bring strong expertise across interior design practice, construction detailing, furniture design, experiential/exhibition design, and emerging design technologies—along with a passion for mentoring the next generation of creative professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Interior Design/B.Arch and Master’s in Interior Design/Master’s in Architecture.
• 8–15 years of relevant industry and/or academic experience.
• Strong expertise in interior design practice, construction working drawings, furniture design, and experiential/exhibition design.
• Teaching and studio-mentoring experience preferred, including guiding student live projects, portfolios, and thesis/dissertation research.

Key Areas of Expertise

• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino & Grasshopper, Revit and BIM
• V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape/Twinmotion and immersive VR/AR walkthroughs
• Interior construction detailing and technical knowledge of MEP drawings
• BIM-based multidisciplinary coordination
• Spatial planning, universal design/accessibility standards and ergonomics
• Strong industry connections and ability to develop live projects, internships, and partnerships with design studios and firms
• Academic and project coordination, including familiarity with LMS platforms
