About the Role

GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management (GLBITM) seeks an experienced faculty member in Computer Science to join the Department of Computer Science & Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in core Computer Science subjects (Python, Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, Object‑Oriented Programming, Software Engineering, Design & Analysis of Algorithms, Computer Networks, Compiler Design, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, etc.).
• Teach emerging subjects such as Cybersecurity, Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, Augmented & Virtual Reality.
• Stay updated with latest trends and technologies in AI/ML/DS and integrate them into curriculum and teaching methodology.
• Use Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar tools for AI research and teaching.
• Deliver engaging, activity‑based learning, real‑world problem solving and achieve high student performance.
• Conduct cutting‑edge research in AI, Data Science and core Computer Science; publish in reputable journals and conferences.
• Secure external funding and lead research projects independently or collaboratively.
• Supervise and mentor graduate students in research.
• Collaborate with industry partners and facilitate real‑world projects for students.
• Participate in continuing professional development and institutional training programmes.
• Support, mentor and facilitate seminars, workshops, conferences, and other academic events.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech/M.Tech in IT/CSE from a top‑tier institute (IIT, NIT, IIIT, IISc, etc.).
• Minimum 0‑4 years of teaching/research experience; Ph.D. or Ph.D. (Pursuing) from a top institute is preferred.
• Experience in software development and programming languages commonly used in AI research (Python, etc.).
• Experience in conducting research, publishing, and obtaining external funding is desirable.
