Roles and Responsibilities

• Teach animation courses to students at various levels, including foundation, diploma, and degree programs.
  
• Develop and update course curriculum to ensure relevance to industry standards and trends.
  
• Conduct classes on traditional animation techniques such as hand-drawn animation, cut-out animation, and stop-motion animation.
  
• Provide individualized feedback to students on their projects and assignments.
  
• Collaborate with other faculty members to plan and organize events related to animation festivals.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of 3D Animation,Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, VFX , Gaming ,Graphic Designing

• Education: A Masters degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field (a Ph.D. or active industry portfolio is often preferred for senior posts).

• Software Competency: Mastery of industry tools like Autodesk Maya, Blender, Toon Boom, Cinema 4D, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

• Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with pre-production, production, and post-production pipelines.
  

Job Description

• Teaching & Instruction: Deliver lectures and hands-on lab sessions on the principles of animation, character rigging, motion graphics, and digital sculpting. etc (All specialisations)

• Curriculum Development: Design course outlines, assignments, and testing metrics that match current media and gaming industry standards.

• Student Mentoring: Guide students through portfolio creation, demo reel production, and final capstone project execution.

• Assessment & Grading: Evaluate practical assignments, tests, and group projects, providing helpful critique for creative improvement.

• Department Service: Attend faculty meetings, join academic committees, and help organize campus exhibitions or guest lectures.

Key Requirements

• Experience:
  4 to 5 years of experience in an academic leadership role, preferably in the Animation/VFX education sector or franchise-based institutions.

• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in leading Animation and VFX software such as Maya, 3ds Max, After Effects, Nuke, Houdini, Unreal, etc.

• Leadership & Communication:
  Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills to manage diverse academic teams across multiple locations.
