Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with TDS/TCS compliance and returns filing.

• Preparation of Form 16 and other tax documents.
• Experience with income tax returns and notices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing end-to-end TDS & TCS compliance, including timely payment and return filing.
• Handling TDS/TCS return corrections and resolution of related discrepancies.
• Preparation and issuance of Form 16 and other employee tax-related documents.
• Preparation and filing of Form 145 for foreign remittances.
• Coordinating with external consultants for preparation and filing of Form 146.
• Assisting in Tax Audit, including preparation, verification and compilation of tax-related schedules and supporting documents.
• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs) and ensuring timely statutory compliance.
• Drafting replies to Income Tax Notices and assisting in assessment proceedings.
• Assisting in Income Tax Assessments, including compilation of information and coordination with consultants.
• Handling GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C and GSTR-6.
• Assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements and verification of financial and tax-related information.
• Verification of employee investment proofs/declarations for income-tax and payroll purposes.
• Maintaining tax records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for Direct Tax, TDS/TCS, and GST compliance.
• Coordinating with internal departments and external tax consultants for timely and accurate statutory compliance.
