Scicore Nutra Private Limited, located in Sanand, Gujarat, seeks an Assistant Manager Supply Planner to translate sales forecasts into production plans, procure material, and manage replenishment for optimal inventory across customer touchpoints. This role supports the Glanbia India S&OP process and liaises with commercial, manufacturing and logistics teams.

The candidate will drive rolling production plans, manage RM/PM inventories, and lead monthly S&OP cycles to deliver a consensus supply

Qualifications

• Graduate with 5–8 years in supply planning, demand planning or S&OP in FMCG/nutraceuticals.
• Management qualification in SCM/Operations or Business preferred.
• Experience handling multi-plant, multi-SKU environments preferred.
• Advanced Excel modelling required; Power BI for KPI dashboards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling 13-week production plan for the Ahmedabad plant (60% India volume).
• Own RM/PM inventory plan; translate production schedules into procurement indents and manage safety stock.
• Run monthly S&OP cycle; consolidate demand inputs and present a consensus plan.
• Monitor Forecast Accuracy and NOOS KPIs; flag risks with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Plant Logistics on inbound material scheduling and storage limits.
• Drive IOT and FTM planning for new products; ensure materials are ready for trials.
• Track KPIs and report to Glanbia leadership with actionable insights.
• Partner with 3PL and logistics to optimize loads and transport efficiency.
• Support annual budget and supply planning with volume and cost inputs.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager Supply Planner will drive integrated supply planning for the Ahmedabad plant, translating sales forecasts into production plans, raw material and packing material procurement schedules, and distribution replenishment plans to ensure product availability across all customer touchpoints with optimal inventory investment. The role will be central to the Glanbia India S&OP process and will be the primary planning interface between commercial teams, manufacturing, and logistics execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the rolling 13-week production plan for the Ahmedabad plant (60% of total India volume), ensuring alignment with Glanbias manufacturing capacity constraints.
• Own the raw material and packing material inventory plan translate production schedules into weekly and monthly procurement indents for all RM and PM items, manage safety stock levels and reorder points, and ensure 30-day inventory policy compliance at the 3PL DC and factory.
• Run the monthly S&OP cycle for the India market consolidate commercial demand inputs from the sales and marketing teams, align with manufacturing capacity and supply constraints, and present a consensus supply plan with risk and opportunity flags to Glanbia India leadership.
• Monitor and proactively drive Forecast Accuracy and NOOS (No Out of Stock) KPIs across the full product portfolio; flag risks 46 weeks ahead and propose corrective supply or demand actions to commercial and leadership teams.
• Coordinate with the Plant Logistics Manager on inbound raw material and packing material scheduling to the factory, ensuring material availability at the line without breaching factory storage capacity limits.
• Drive Innovation On Time (IOT) and First-Time-Make (FTM) planning coordinate new product introduction schedules with marketing, R&D, packaging, and manufacturing, and ensure all materials and packaging are available in advance of trial and commercial runs.
• Track and report supply chain KPIs monthly Forecast Accuracy, NOOS, Production Plan Attainment, Inventory Freshness, Inbound FCL utilization, CPM, and Innovation On Time with commentary and corrective actions to Glanbia leadership.
• Partner with the 3PL warehouse partner and the logistics team to optimize pallet utilization, container loads (FCL), and transportation efficiency across the India network.
• Support annual budget and supply planning processes – provide volume, RM / PM cost, and inventory investment inputs to the Glanbia India finance and leadership teams.

Education & Experience:

• Graduate with minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or S&OP, preferably in FMCG, nutraceuticals, or consumer goods.
• Management qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management preferred.
• Preference for candidates with experience managing multi-plant, multi-SKU supply environments in a high-growth category.
• Experience with advanced planning tools preferred.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills mandatory; Power BI for KPI dashboard development preferred.

Required Skills:

• Strong end-to-end understanding of supply planning, production scheduling, RM / PM procurement planning, and distribution replenishment in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
• Sound knowledge of BOM structures, MRP / MPS logic, inventory costing, and replenishment planning (reorder point, min-max, safety stock optimization).
• Ability to run structured S&OP processes and present supply risk and opportunity analysis to senior commercial and operations leadership.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills – ability to work effectively with commercial, manufacturing, logistics, quality, procurement, and finance teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and manage well under uncertainty and time pressure.
