Job summary

SKF in Pune, India seeks an experienced Assistant Manager Supply Chain Planner to balance supply and demand, optimize inventory, and drive global SCM initiatives. The role requires coordinating production schedules, capacity planning, and collaborations with sales to align future orders with market trends.

The candidate should have a mechanical/industrial engineering background with 5+ years in supply chain planning; CPIM is preferable. 5 days a week work plus alternate Saturday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Production/Industrial engineering.
• CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute all supply chain planning for Channel/Product line.
• S&OP of Product group, capacity booking and monthly input/output control.
• Forecast product demand to meet market needs.
• Plan production schedule based on forecasts to satisfy customer demand.
• Interface with sales to gather information on future orders and market trends.
• Establish supply delivery conditions, procedures and parameter values.
• Analyze and monitor customer service, stockouts and KPI performance.
• Maintain SC related data in MAPICS, SCSS, SO99+, and related systems.
• Execute MRP, procurement orders and supply schedules.
• Establish supply channel contracts with delivery conditions and parameters.
• Represent Supply Chain in audits (internal and external).

Assistant Manager Supply Chain Planner

Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

Reports to: Manager Supply Chain

Working Days: 5 Days + Alternate Saturday will be working

Purpose of the role:

Global Supply Chain Planner is responsible for coordinating assets to optimize the delivery of goods, services and information fromsupplierto domestic and global customers. Balancingsupplyanddemand (Ensuring maximum service with optimization of Inventory).

Responsibilities

• Execute all supply chain planning related work for Channel / Product line.
• S&OP of Product group, capacity booking and Monthly Input/output Control.
• Performs forecasts of product demand to meet market needs.
• Plan and prepare production schedule based on forecasts to satisfy customer demand.
• Interface with sales to acquire information on future orders, market trends and extraordinary circumstances.
• Establish Supply Delivery Conditions, Procedures and Parameter Values.
• Analysis and monitoring of customer service and Stockout, Flow KPIs like Prodperf, Supperf, Mfg Leadtime and related improvement actions.
• Maintaining SC related fields in various masters in MAPICS, SCSS, SO99+ and OMPS and Central Prodmast & Inventory management for FGS and Mfg stock items.
• Execution of MRP, Procurement Order & Supply Schedules (Call-offs) issue.
• Establish Supply Channel contracts which considers delivery condition, procedure and parameter values.
• Represent Supply Chain in external as well as internal audits.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor of engineering Mechanical/Production/Industrial engineering
• 5+ years of experience in the relevant field.
• Certification in CPIM is preferable
