Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Mumbai is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist I to optimize processes across planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. You will act as a key liaison between business functions and ensure operational excellence.

You will leverage SAP/ERP and Excel to improve performance, maintain regulatory compliance, and deliver superior customer service while supporting global supply chain activities in a global healthcare and lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Preferred fields: Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• SAP certification beneficial but not required.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Proficient in SAP/ERP systems and Excel.
• Expertise in order processing, planning, procurement, and logistics coordination.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong process improvement skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills beneficial.
• Experience with supply chain metrics and KPI reporting.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
• Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills.
