Job summary

Careernet in Pune, India, seeks an experienced SAP procurement specialist to lead configuration for S/4HANA sourcing and procure-to-pay processes. You will drive end-to-end procurement activities, master data management, and cross-module integrations in a large enterprise SAP environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in SAP procurement, with hands-on SAP MM in S/4HANA, and exposure to Ariba/Coupa. Strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP procurement and sourcing experience, incl. 2+ years in S/4HANA.
• Hands-on SAP MM experience with sourcing and procurement in S/4HANA.
• Experience with procure-to-pay, inventory management, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, and configuration for SAP MM and S/4HANA sourcing.
• Support end-to-end procure-to-pay processes: requisitioning, POs, goods receipt, service receipt, and invoice verification.
• Prepare business process documentation, functional specifications, test plans, and test scripts for new functionality and enhancements.
• Coordinate with ABAP and cross-functional teams on integrations with SD, PP, and FI/CO.
• Support implementation activities across master data, inventory management, source determination, contract management, and release strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Skills Required:

• 7+ years of relevant SAP procurement and sourcing experience, including at least 2 years in SAP S/4HANA
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP MM with sourcing and procurement processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Functional knowledge of procure-to-pay, purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, and supplier management.
• Experience supporting implementation work, configuration, testing, and cross-module integration.
• Ability to work on master data, data migration, and procurement process design in an enterprise SAP environment.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to SAP Ariba, Coupa, and indirect procurement tools.
• Experience with HPQC, ARIS, and JIRA.
• Knowledge of tax engine integration and industry exposure in life sciences, manufacturing, or utilities.
