The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.Key Responsibilities:Enter financial data and transactions into general ledger and reconcile accounts with the general ledgerPrepare journal entries relating to leases, fixed assets, amortization, depreciation, prepaid, accruals, etcReview financial documents for accuracy and reconcile accounts and financial statementsEnter regular payroll entries in accounting systemOversee monthly intercompany accounting close activities to ensure proper eliminationCoordinate and execute the capitalization of software costs in accordance with applicable accounting standardsMaintaining finalization of GL trial balanceGenerate and review monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and ensure accuracyResponsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closePerforming post closure activitiesAssist other departments with accounting issues and queries, and collaborate with them to complete accurate dataSupport external audits, ensure processes are adhered to as per documented processesEnsuring compliance with accounting standards, policies and regulationsProcess improvement – identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and implement best practicesWork closely with other finance teams such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax, and Consolidation team to ensure a cohesive financial processSupport senior R2R Manager and the finance leadership in special projects as requiredRequirements:Chartered Accountant with 2 to 3 years working experience in GL accounting and reporting ORInter – CA or post graduate with 5 to 10 years working experience in GL accounting and reportingMust be familiar with general accounting, having good understanding of accounting standards, proficient in spreadsheet, and be able to work in teams or work alone under self-directionGood communication skills since the candidate will be working with other team members located in U.S., Philippines, Gautemala and IndiaExperience of SAP and working in BPO/KPO or any service industry will be preferableIf you’ve got the skills to succeed and the motivation to make it happen, we look forward to hearing from you.
