Job summary

JobItUs in India is seeking a microbiology lab professional to manage sampling, testing, and compliance in a GMP micro-lab environment. You will collect samples from raw materials, in-process and finished products, prepare media, and perform tests according to AN and BIS methods to ensure release timelines.

Responsibilities

• Collect raw ingredients, EMP samples, packaging, in-process and finished product samples per sampling plan and test per AN/BIS methods.
• Prepare and sterilize microbiological media per AN and BIS requirements and conduct growth promotion testing.
• Decontaminate biohazard waste from the micro lab.
• Calibrate/verify glassware and equipment routinely.
• Composite FP and RM as per GLP.
• Follow GDP to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Maintain 6S in Micro lab.
• Maintain raw data and records for all test parameters related to FP, IP, RM, EMP and ad hoc testing.
• Follow GHK practices in lab and monitor routine cleaning.
• Notify Lab FLL or Lab Manager immediately of any OOS or OAL; follow retention/archival policy.
• Handle additional projects as directed by management.
• Complete compliance wire training as scheduled.
• Review methods periodically.
• Media and consumables tracking and inventory management.
• Raise the LIR against the OOS and handle change control requests per QMS.
• Review laboratory records.

Job description

• Responsible to collect the raw ingredients, EMP(Environmental monitoring program )sample, Packaging, in process samples and finished product samples as per sampling plan and conduct the test as per AN methods for salmonella, Enterobacter sakazakii, Escherichia coli, Total bacterial count, Staphylococcus aureus, shigella, Listeria monocytogen, coliforms, yeast & mold, SRC tec. Responsible for analysis of all the BIS approved products as per BIS methods and release the batches as per specified timeline.
• Responsible for preparation and sterilization microbiological media according to AN and BIS methods requirement and conduct growth promotion testing as per AN method and record the results.
• Responsible for Decontamination of Biohazard waste generated from micro lab.
• Responsible for conduct the routine calibration / Verification for glassware and equipment’s.
• Responsible for compositing the FP and RM as per method followed by GLP.
• Strictly follow the GDP to avoid errors during documentation.
• Maintain the 6S in Micro lab religiously.
• Maintain the raw data for all the test parameters and record keeping related to FP,IP,RM,EMP and add hoc testing..
• Follow the GHK practices in lab and monitor the routine cleaning practices.
• Any deviation observed like OOS, OAL immediately informed to Lab FLL or Lab Manager Record keeping being followed as per retention and archival policy Handling of additional projects as per management directions.
• Complete the compliance wire training as per schedule.
• Review the methods on periodically as per schedule.
