Qualifications

Key Responsibilities of Role

• PNG Projects Lead - O3 Strategic Planning and Oversight: - Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for 33 pipeline projects, ensuring they are fully aligned with the overarching organizational goals and adhere strictly to all relevant regulatory requirements.
• - Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning stages through to the operational handover, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within the allocated budget.
• - Establish clear project milestones and performance indicators to rigorously monitor progress, ensuring that all project objectives are consistently met and any deviations are promptly addressed.
• - Lead the development of detailed project scopes, well-defined objectives, and key deliverables in close collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and consensus from the outset.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or a related advanced degree.
• Work Experience: 6+ years of experience in pipeline construction project management, specifically with mild steel pipelines.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Preferred Industry: Experience in the gas distribution, oil and energy, or utilities sectors with extensive knowledge of pipeline construction, including horizontal drilling, boring, and open-cut techniques.
• Experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on strategic planning, team leadership, and stakeholder management.
