Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a qualified Electrical Infrastructure project manager to oversee PSS, USS, and 33kV Transmission Line packages from planning through commissioning.

You will coordinate across Engineering, Procurement, Site Teams, Contractors, and Consultants to ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliant contractual execution. Experience in renewable energy EPC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in Electrical Engineering required.
• MBA/PGDM preferred for project management roles.
• 5–10 years of experience in Electrical Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, EPC.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of PSS, USS, and 33kV Transmission Line packages per approved schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Site Teams, Contractors and Consultants.
• Monitor risks, drive mitigation plans and ensure milestone achievement.
• Support preparation of PRs, issuance of POs/SOs, and change management.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Conduct site visits, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Job description

Purpose/Objective

To manage and support the planning, execution, monitoring, contract administration, and commissioning activities of packages including PSS, USS, and 33kV Transmission Line works for wind power projects. The role ensures timely project execution, contractual compliance, budget adherence, stakeholder coordination, and successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Project Execution & Coordination: Manage execution of PSS, USS, and 33kV Transmission Line packages as per approved project schedules. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Site Teams, Contractors, and Consultants for timely completion of project activities. Monitor project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and drive mitigation plans to achieve project milestones. Participate in project kick-off meetings and periodic review meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Contract & Commercial Management: Support preparation of PRs and coordinate for timely issuance of POs/SOs. Prepare and process NFAs, budget approvals, contract amendments, variation orders, PEOTs, and change management documentation. Monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance from contractors and vendors. Manage project closure activities including material reconciliation, contract closure, retention release, and LD management.
• Project Planning & Monitoring: Develop and monitor project schedules, resource deployment plans, and milestone trackers. Coordinate project planning activities using scheduling tools and project management methodologies. Track contractor performance against planned timelines and deliverables. Prepare periodic MIS, progress reports, risk registers, and management dashboards.
• Cost Control & Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditure against approved estimates. Support evaluation of additional scope requirements and budget impact assessments. Prepare project cash flow forecasts and coordinate with finance teams for fund planning. Drive cost optimization initiatives through improved execution strategies and resource utilization.
• Site Support & Commissioning: Conduct site visits to monitor execution progress and resolve site-level issues. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams to expedite material supply and work execution. Conduct factory visits, inspections, and review meetings to ensure timely manufacturing and dispatch. Support testing, commissioning, energization, and project handover activities.
