Child Rights and You (CRY) in Mumbai seeks a qualified professional to oversee urban and rural development initiatives, manage partnerships and donor reporting, and support capacity building across programs.

The role involves planning, monitoring, budgeting and ensuring compliance while delivering high-quality reports and proposals for continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of professional experience implementing and managing urban/rural development initiatives.
• Experience monitoring grants and donor reporting/handling.
• Direct implementation planning, monitoring and reporting experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a multicultural/multilingual environment with strong communication skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct intervention projects of CRY with planning, monitoring and evaluation.
• Manage CRY partnerships ensuring grant disbursal, planning and monitoring for partner organizations.
• Support capacity building initiatives.
• Manage 45 initiatives including sub-regional processes and direct implementation projects.
• Support budgeting, fund disbursement, financial reporting and budget monitoring for partner organizations.
• Monitor programme and financial performance, ensuring accountability, compliance and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure quality report writing and support in proposal writing.

Role & responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities

• Manage direct intervention projects of CRY as assigned ensuring planning, monitoring and evaluation
• Manage partnerships of CRY by ensuring grant disbursal, planning and monitoring of such initiatives as assigned for the partner organization.
• Support capacity building initiatives
• Manage 45 initiatives, including sub-regional processes and direct implementation projects.
• Support partner organization and DI initiatives budgeting, fund disbursement, financial reporting and budget monitoring.
• Monitor programme and financial performance, ensuring accountability, compliance and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure quality report writing and support in proposal writing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in implementing and managing urban/Rural development initiatives; experience of monitoring grants; good and verifiable report-writing experience, have networking abilities and government interface experience; and donor reporting and handling experience.
• Having experience of direct implementation projects planning, monitoring and reporting would be added advantage, along with experience of CSR initiative implementation and reporting.
• The candidate should have good communication skills and should be able to work in a multicultural/multilingual environment. She/he should be able to understand data and analyze data for program improvement. The candidate should have experience in training field implementers.
• Excellent written and spoken command of English (Knowledge of Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and would be an added advantage)
