Guidehouse India is hiring for a Senior Medical Coding Team Lead based in Chennai. The role focuses on delivering high-quality coding services, managing P&L for client accounts, and ensuring cost-effective staffing and utilization of resources.

You will lead a team of coding professionals, drive process improvements, and collaborate with support departments to meet SLAs. The position requires 8+ years in medical coding (Profee) and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Medical Coding (Profee)
• 2+ years of experience as Team Lead
• AAPC/AHIMA Certification required
• Graduate degree required
• Data collection capability in relevant systems and business processes
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills
• Leadership/supervision experience
• Flexibility, time management and strong documentation skills
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Meet all Client Service Level Agreements (deliverables)
• Responsible for the P&L for the clients handled with a focus on high quality service delivery
• Focus on cost effectiveness and manpower utilization
• Talent retention and understanding client training needs
• Analyze performance results and implement process improvements
• Determine appropriate staff levels and ensure efficient operations
• Hold regular team meetings and communicate updates to team
• Act as single point contact for team leads and escalate issues when needed
• Escalate client complaints and drive CAPA actions
• Authorize team leads' leave and supervise day-to-day activities
• Track productivity, quality, absenteeism and support performance appraisals
