Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager in Production for Vehicle PU. The role focuses on daily work management, adherence to MOST guidelines, and timely production planning in the assembly line.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality, safety, and productivity, driving Kaizens and continuous improvements, and handling internal/external customer concerns with timely actions. Role includes 1st and 2nd shifts.

Qualifications

• BE or diploma in mechanical/automobile engineering as listed in the education section.
• Experience in automotive production environments is preferred.
• Capable of planning and executing production activities per schedule.

Responsibilities

• Daily Work Management- Monitor targets and manage priorities.
• Ensure production in Assembly line per MOST guidelines and allocate work.
• Adherence to production schedule.
• Ensure vehicle quality, productivity and safety, pursue Kaizens.
• Timely actions for internal/external customer concerns and sustenance.
• Close audits observations and safety audits actions.
• Adhere to QMS, QDMS, 5S, etc.
• Identify scope for continual improvement in 5S and safety.
• Timely disposal of non-conforming parts & scrap.
• Work in 1st and 2nd shifts.

Asst Manager - Production - Vehicle PU Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Daily Work Management- Monitor the set targets on a day to day basis effectively by managing priorities.
2. To Ensure Production in Assembly line with MOST guidelines along with allotment of work and planning of production to achieve Max. RFD vehicles .
3. Adherence to production schedule
4. To Ensure the quality of the vehicles manufactured, Productivity & Safety and working towards improving the same through Kaizens & Improvements projects
5. Ensure timely actions for internal/external customer concerns and sustenance of the same.
6. Timely closure of MQA audits observations , RFI audit observations & Safety Audit Observations .
7. Responsible for adhering to Quality Management systems, QDMS , 5S etc.
8. Identify scope for continual improvemet in JH & 5S along with maintaining safety at work .
9. Timely disposal of non confirming parts & scrap .
10. Working in all Shifts - 1st and 2nd
