Mahindra And Mahindra Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager - Paint Technology to lead layout preparation for greenfield and brownfield projects, and to drive process improvement in the paint shop. The role requires preparation of 2D/3D drawings, RFQs, project charters, and timely sign-offs with suppliers and stakeholders.

You will develop project timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions that maintain schedules.

Qualifikationen

• BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare layouts for greenfield/brownfield projects to meet paint shop capacity.
• Create 2D/3D drawings and process layouts using AutoCAD/CATIA.
• Prepare RFQs, project charter and sign-offs with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Develop project timelines, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions without delaying schedule.
• Detail conveyor types, paint booths, ovens, air supply units and robot handling for quality output.
• Understand civil/utilities drawings for process interfaces.
• Conduct feasibility studies and trials for new products in existing facilities.
• Contribute during design phase for sealing, painting, waxing and masking processes.
• Plan facilities, tools, gauges and fixtures for new products; budget and procurements.
• Support installation, commissioning and handover of new equipment to manufacturing.

Assistant Manager - Paint Technology

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Preparation of layouts for green field or brown field projects for capacity requirements of the Paint shop.
• Preapare 2D and 3D drawings, process layout & for aggregate parts parts using software's like AutoCAD, CATIA etc
• Create RFQs, project charter & documentations, suppliers and stake holder sign offs
• Preparation of project time lines, able to identify breakeven, bottleneck points, suggest & implementation solution for the issue without affecting schedule
• Detailing of various conveyor types with latest designs, expertise in process like PTCED, Ovens, Air supply units, Paint booths, Paint & sealer distribution with know how of Control parameters required for the same for quality output for the product , knowledge of sealing & painting robots
• Undertsanding of Civil, Utilities drawings for interface with process layouts.
• Process feasibility study and prove out for new products in existing facilities using soft tools and actual trails
• Inputs during design phase for new product for sealing, painting, waxing, UB masking & various paint shop processes
• New product planning - FTG'S (Facility, tools, gauges & fixtures) - budget workout, procurement & implementation with innovative solutions
• Preapare & support new equipment and refurbishment activities- Installation,Commissioing & handover to mfg. team with proper documentation
• Benchmarking of paint shop processes & automation for energy efficiency & foot print reduction
• Benchmarking of OEM products for sealing, paining ,waxing etc, implementation of data in products for product quality, weight improvement
• Workout capital & revenue budget requirement as per new product / platform requirement & other improvement / facility projects

Education Qualification

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile / Production

• Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile / Production

General Experience

• 2 to 8 years of experience in Paint shop, Production line. Plant Engineeirng / Manufacturing engineering.
