Job summary

HSBC India is seeking a capable professional for Securities Services within Corporate and Institutional Banking. The role focuses on accurate processing of day-to-day operations, client FX reporting, and timely payments to meet regulatory and client obligations.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, serve as SME for the desk, and support system changes under guidance of a line manager. Capital markets knowledge is preferred and AI tools familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Graduate with 3–5 years of experience in capital markets (preferred).
  • Capital Market knowledge is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Process day-to-day operations related to client FX transactions and reporting to Global Markets and Regulators.
  • Timely processing of payments to meet regulatory and client obligations.
  • Regulatory reporting; data collation and coordination with stakeholders for accurate regulator reporting.

Markets and Securities Services offers a range of fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing services.

Principal Responsibilities
  • To accurately process / check the day to day operations related activities which includes processing reporting of clients Fx transaction to client, Global Markets & Regulators.
  • To timely process payments so as to meet regulatory / client obligations
  • Regulatory Reporting/Collating of Data/Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting to Regulators at all times.
  • Maintain working relationship with internal & external stake holders.
  • SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the respective desk being handled.
  • Assist the line manager in implementation of longer-term strategic vision for the operations unit. This includes assisting in testing and implementing system changes.
  • Nostro/Vostro Knowledge and Reconciliation
  • Needs to have high computer proficiency- excel / word knowledge.
Role Requirements / Education Qualifications / Certifications / Experience
  • Graduate with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Capital Market knowledge is preferred
