Job summary

JobItUs Quality Control Engineer role based in Gujarat, India. You will support QA/QC in charge, coordinate third party inspections, manage laboratory testing, ND T Level II, and ensure pre-dispatch documentation accuracy.

Requires BE/ Diploma in Mechanical or Fabrication with 3-7 years of experience and knowledge of steel/tube products, ISO 9001 awareness, and MS Office proficiency. 5S & safety compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• BE/ Diploma in Mechanical or Fabrication with relevant experience.
• 3–7 years of experience depending on qualification.
• Knowledge of material standards for steel tubes and related products.
• Familiarity with brazed tube manufacturing and related product requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supporting to QA / QC In Charge for Quality Management System Handling.
• Coordinating Third party inspection and its associated activities.
• Laboratory testing and reports review as per internal and external standards.
• Preparation of Product Test certificate and verification.
• NDT level II.
• Daily in process inspection and final release of product.
• Overall management of inspection of all inward material including raw material.
• Review and ensuring correctness of all pre‑dispatch documents to avoid potential customer complaint.
• Overall management of calibration activities.
• Ensuring the safety and 5S within work area as per company guidelines.
• Awareness about Quality management system (ISO 9001) Audit and its handling.
• Data and drawing interpretation skills.
• Fair communication skills.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical / BE Fabrication / BE Metallurgy/Diploma Mechanical or Fabrication
• Experience: 3-5 years for BE and 5 to 7 years for Diploma
• Knowledge about material and its standards for steel / tube products
• Knowledge about braze tube manufacturing and related product requirements
• MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

Supporting to QA / QC In Charge for Quality Management System Handling.

• Laboratory and related activities (to perform all laboratory testing physical/mechanical & micro tests as per internal and external standards from outside agencies) and reports review of the same.
• Preparation of Product Test certificate and verification.
