KEC International, based in Mumbai, seeks a senior production leader to drive conductor manufacturing targets and oversee the phased rollout of a new aluminum factory.

You will partner with Finance, IT, SCM, Design and Quality to streamline processes, optimize resources, and deliver cost-efficient production while upholding safety and ESG commitments.

Job Responsibilities

• Spearhead the achievement of conductor production targets, effectively managing both open order and bill and book capacity to meet and exceed expectations.
• Champion the timely and efficient commissioning of our new aluminum factory, overseeing both phases of implementation and ensuring smooth product rollout.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, SCM, Design, and Quality, to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and achieve shared objectives.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production costs.
• Champion employee happiness and engagement by fostering a positive and supportive work environment, implementing initiatives to improve working conditions and work culture.
• Be a champion for safety and sustainability, ensuring strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety protocols while driving initiatives that align with KEC's commitment to ESG principles.
• Lead by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the production team.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in a leadership role within a high-volume manufacturing environment, ideally within the conductor or cable industry.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and execution, with a demonstrated ability to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and inspire high performance.
• Data-driven and analytical, with a strong understanding of key performance indicators and a commitment to continuous improvement.
