Job summary

Mphasis Ltd in Bangalore (ORR) seeks an Assistant Manager- L3 Network Security Engg to support 24x7 IT Infra Operations. You will troubleshoot incidents and changes, lead end-to-end technical projects, and oversee L1/L2 teams across routing, switching, wireless and security domains.

The role requires 12–16 years in Network & Security with Cisco/HP/Aruba devices, plus CCNP/CCIE or similar certifications as an added advantage. A strong communicator will coordinate with OEMs and client teams.

Qualifications

• BE or a similar UG qualification is mandatory.
• Certifications (CCNP/CCIE, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Aruba, CheckPoint) are a plus.
• 12–16 years of network & security domain experience.
• Willing to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
• Experience with incident/change/request management (ServiceNow) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level-3 support for incidents, changes and requests by troubleshooting across Network & Security platforms.
• Plan, manage and execute end-to-end technical implementation projects with OEM coordination.
• Supervise L1/L2 engineers and drive learning/adoption of new technologies.
• Maintain high uptime and standardized device configurations; perform periodic testing.
• Attend client and internal meetings; update network diagrams as landscapes evolve.

Assistant Manager Job Description Role: CIO Infra Support L3 Network Security Engg Location: Bangalore ORR Office

Who are we looking for? A Level 3 Skilled Network – Routing/Switching/Wireless and Security skilled Engineer to be a part of the 24x 7 IT Infra Operations Team operating from ORR Bangalore Facility.

Technical Skills

• Network and Security engineer will have to provide primary Level- 3 support for Incidents, Change and request tickets by troubleshooting / analyzing across Mphasis Network & Security platforms.
• Routing and Switching is the Key Primary Skill with experience preferably across all Routing Protocols and experience in Cisco/HP/Aruba devices as the preference.
• Security (Firewalls/IPS/IDS/Proxy) is the Secondary skill with experience across all major Vendors on Security appliances like Cisco/HP/Aruba/Palo Alto/Fortigate//CheckPoint, etc.
• Wireless Architecture / Implementation and Operational Support Knowledge and Experience on Vendors like Cisco/Aruba, etc.

Execute changes and periodic device upgrade, migration, integration activities along with L1 & L2 Engineers and Oversee/Supervise the L1 & L2 Enggs in the specific shifts being managed by the L3 Engg. Plan, Manage and Execute End-to-End Technical Implementation Projects as per the technology Verticals/OEMs listed above. Understanding vertical domain SOP’s and managing environment as per defined SOP’s Coordinate with OEM for product related fixed, ensure high uptime and standardization of configuration in devices Periodic Failover testing, execute corrective action as needed for high infrastructure uptime to support business Train/Supervise & Guide the L1 & L2 Enggs in the team and drive the New Technology Learning & Adoption within the team Support and implement, Create policies, Log and Data analysis, Configurations and Action of critical from SOC along with analysis and quick remediation. Network diagram update as per the landscape changes with new device & technologies Attend regular internal and client meetings when at work. Work in 24X7 environment in rotational shift to support operation.

Preferred Knowledge / Working Experience but NOT Mandatory Skills

• Secure Email Gateway Technology (preferably Symantec but not compulsory)
• NAC Solution (preferably ClearPass Aruba but not compulsory)
• WAF (preferably Radware but not compulsory)
• Microsegmentation (preferably Color Tokens but not compulsory)

Technical and Domain Specific Experience Expectations

• Network & Security Domain Specific Working Experience ranging from 12 to 16 years.
• Basic knowledge in Cloud Configuration & Troubleshooting (AWS and Azure) experience, preferably ranging from 3 to 5 years.
• People/Roster Management experience preferable but NOT Mandatory.
• Process Skills: Intermediate knowledge in VA Fixing and Monitoring.
• ServiceNow Tool Work Experience Incident / Change and Request Management Process Experience Basic knowledge in Cloud Configuration & Troubleshooting (AWS and Azure).
