The Hoxton Bengaluru City is seeking an innovative Assistant Manager Learning and Development to shape and deliver learning initiatives for our People & Culture team. You will partner with hotel leaders to ensure learning is practical, engaging, and aligned with business needs, helping teams grow and perform at their best.

You will implement policies, manage development opportunities, and drive talent reviews while upholding Hoxton values in a dynamic hospitality environment in Bengaluru City,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to look after teams, provide guidance and coaching.

We are seeking an innovative and goal-oriented Assistant Manager Learning and Development to join our dynamic team for The Hoxton Bengaluru City.

As a key member of our People & Culture team, you’ll shape and deliver learning initiatives that help our people grow, perform at their best and build meaningful careers with The Hoxton. Working closely with hotel leaders and department heads, you’ll make sure our learning offer is practical, engaging and connected to what our teams and business really need.

The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India’s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. This is a major milestone for the brand as it ventures into a new continent entirely and we are now looking for a brilliant leadership team to help bring this lifestyle brand to the market.

Located in the heart of the city centre, The Hoxton, Bengaluru City will bring its undeniable brand DNA and guest experience to India’s “Silicon Valley”, a high-tech city filled with parks and gardens and known for its vibrant cafe and pub culture - very apt for a brand that was founded in London!

The hotel will feature 149 bedrooms in a variety of The Hoxton’s well-loved room categories and the lobby will have a vibrant all-day dining restaurant & bar. Topping off the hotel we will have a rooftop pool and bar, large scale function rooms and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s unique meeting & events concept

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• Be a true partner to the business for anything that relates to looking after their teams, providing advice & guidance.
• Implement and manage our policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring we are compliant with local employment law in all areas.
• Position our brand as an employer of choice through effective recruitment strategies that attract talent and build a talent pool for effective succession planning within the business.
• Work with heads of department on putting in place development opportunities & paths for the team.
• Keep the culture of the hotel alive by embedding The Hoxton values, promoting a fair, safe and inclusive environment and leading initiatives that engage and empower the team.
• Drive our talent review process from coffee chats, annual reviews through to talent and career management.
• Lead activities under “Do More”, our global initiative to work with local charities & community projects in the cities we call home.
• Support managers on employee relations and performance management cases.
• Work with the central team on European/Global projects and rollouts. We want to hear your ideas and get your input on how to design effective initiatives and deliver innovative solutions.
