Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances in Hyderabad, India (hybrid role) is seeking a qualified finance professional to manage monthly reports, audits, tax compliance, and GL activities. You will partner with Shared Services and local authorities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, experience with SAP, and excellent communication across stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA / ICWA / CMA with relevant accounting and finance experience; or Semi-Qualified CA / ICWA / CMA with extended experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, internal controls, and local tax regulations.
• Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, and GL management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management across finance, tax, Shared Services, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly reports, accruals, variance analyses, annual reports, local financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits, maintain SOX documentation, perform control verification activities, and respond to audit queries.
• Monitor and coordinate AP/AR and intercompany billing with Shared Services for timely clearance of aged items.
• Support tax and Shared Services on tax-related matters, including transfer pricing and tax provisioning.
• Review aged balances across General Ledger and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve items.
• Manage and support corporate secretarial and compliance-related activities.
• Contribute to special projects, system testing, process improvements, and implementation initiatives.

Where Youll Make a Difference

• Prepare and analyze monthly reports, accruals, variance analyses, annual reports, local financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits, maintain SOX documentation, perform control verification activities, and respond to audit queries, regulatory inquiries, and requests from local tax authorities.
• Monitor and coordinate Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and intercompany billing activities with the Shared Services Center to ensure timely review and clearance of aged items.
• Support tax and Shared Services teams on tax-related matters, including tax assessments, transfer pricing requirements, tax provisioning, and advance tax computations.
• Perform periodic reviews of aged balances across General Ledger accounts and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
• Manage and support corporate secretarial and compliance-related activities.
• Contribute to additional tasks, special projects, system testing, process improvements, and implementation initiatives as assigned.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Qualified CA / ICWA / CMA with a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience; or Semi-Qualified (Inter completed) CA / ICWA / CMA with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, internal controls, and local tax regulations.
• Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, and General Ledger management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and working experience in SAP is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
