The Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager - Finance to lead daily finance operations at the Nasik, Maharashtra site.

You'll deliver accurate MIS and support the Financial Controller with value-added analysis for a quality finance function. You will oversee closing, reconciliations, treasury, and stakeholder reporting, while mentoring the finance team and coordinating with UK and India leadership.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant or semi qualified with experience of minimum 5 Year in Medium size company with T/O around INR 25Cr to 50Cr.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years working experience and a minimum of 5 years in a Finance role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day operations of the finance function.
  • Preparation and financial closing of books of accounts - MIS.
  • Perform reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of variances.
  • Banking and Finance activities.
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management.
  • Inventory management and credit control.
  • Treasury within DoA levels and budgeting support.
  • Mentor to Finance assistant and support audits.

Description

Job Purpose:

This is a full-time onsite role based in our Indian plant ( Nasik , Maharashtra). This role reports to Financial Controller, and the main objective of this role will be to provide accurate MIS. Achieved through delivery of an efficient day-to-day finance function whilst seeking to add value with detailed analysis supporting the Financial Controller to deliver a quality finance function for the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee day to day operations of the finance function
  • Preparation and financial closing of books of accounts - MIS
  • Perform reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of variances
  • Banking & Finance
  • Accounts Receivable Management
  • Accounts Payable Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Credit control and order assessment
  • Treasury - Within DoA levels
  • Provide information for Budgeting, MIS and stakeholder management
  • Support with Audit requirements and documentation (internal and external)
  • Mentor to Finance assistant to strive for continuous improvement and team development

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant or semi qualified with experience of minimum 5 Year in Medium size company with T/O of around INR 25Cr to 50Cr. (MNE preferable)
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years working experience and a minimum of 5 years

  • Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant with experience of minimum 5 Year in Medium size company with T/O of around INR 25Cr to 50Cr. (MNE preferable)
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years post qualification working experience and a minimum of 5 years as Finance Manager or equivalent position.
