Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, invites applications for a hybrid role in Hyderabad. The Finance arm enables streamlined, scalable support and robust compliance across the organization.

The role emphasizes monthly reporting, audits, tax matters, and intercompany activities, requiring strong accounting knowledge, SOX awareness, and fluent English to engage with global partners.

Qualifications

• CA/ICWA/CMA qualifications with relevant accounting and finance experience
• Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, and GL management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly reports, accruals, variance analyses, annual reports, local financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate statutory and internal audits, maintain SOX documentation, respond to audit queries, regulatory inquiries, and requests from local tax authorities.
• Monitor and coordinate AP, AR, and intercompany billing activities with Shared Services Center to ensure timely review and clearance of aged items.
• Support tax and Shared Services teams on tax-related matters, including tax assessments, transfer pricing, tax provisioning, and advance tax computations.
• Perform periodic reviews of aged balances across General Ledger accounts and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve items.
• Manage and support corporate secretarial and compliance-related activities.
• Contribute to additional tasks, special projects, system testing, process improvements, and implementation initiatives.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Qualified CA / ICWA / CMA with a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience; or Semi-Qualified (Inter completed) CA / ICWA / CMA with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, internal controls, and local tax regulations.

• Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, and General Ledger management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and working experience in SAP is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to present financial information accurately and effectively.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, tax, Shared Services, and external partners.
