Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics; professional designation preferred (CA/CMA/CPA).
  • 8–12 years of progressive finance management experience, incl. international team leadership and client management.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, reporting systems, and MS Office (Excel modeling, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex financial data to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Execute month-end and year-end close with variance analysis for stakeholders.
  • Develop financial models and analytical solutions for management reporting.
  • Oversee accounts receivable optimization and client funding processes.
  • Maintain GL integrity and ensure regulatory compliance.

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager - Finance to support our client-dedicated finance team in Gurugram, partnering with the Senior Manager - Finance to deliver comprehensive financial analysis and exceptional client service. This role encompasses detailed P&L and balance sheet analysis, forecasting and trend identification, and creation of sophisticated financial models to support strategic business decisions. The successful candidate will prepare executive reports for JLL leadership and client stakeholders, work closely with the business & finance team on complex financial challenges, and provide technical guidance to junior team members. Key responsibilities include supporting organizational financial planning, leveraging best practices to enhance service delivery, and applying innovative solutions to optimize business performance. Job Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Execute comprehensive month-end and Year-end close processes, delivering accurate financial statements with detailed variance analysis to stakeholders
  • Develop financial models and analytical solutions for management reporting, enhancing decision-making capabilities across operations and client services
  • Analyze accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure optimal account validation and regulatory compliance
Client Service & Revenue Management
  • Oversee accounts receivable optimization and collection processes and maintaining strong client financial relationships
  • Manage client funding processes and coordinate work order modifications, delivering seamless financial service delivery under Master Services Agreements
  • Resolve financial discrepancies through systematic analytical investigation, maintaining client satisfaction and operational integrity
Process Excellence & Systems Management
  • Implement process improvement initiatives and recommend financial optimization strategies that streamline operations and enhance service delivery
  • Maintain accurate transaction pipelines and general ledger integrity through detailed management and systematic review processes
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards and accounting entries, supporting accurate month-end reporting and reclass requirements
Stakeholder Collaboration & Support
  • Coordinate accounting support and respond to complex financial inquiries from operations teams, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Present monthly accrual audit findings and provide strategic analytical feedback to enhance operational behaviors and techniques
  • Complete special projects including audits and ad hoc assignments, supporting Senior Assistant Manager - Finance initiatives and organizational objectives
Job Prerequisites

Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics. Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.

Leadership Experience: 8-12 years of progressive finance management experience, including international team leadership and client relationship management in complex service environments with exceptional attention to detail & accuracy.

Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations), with a strong knowledge of internal controls

Communication & Leadership: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams

Client-Focused Collaboration: Strong commitment to client service excellence with experience working in diverse, fast-paced professional environments and managing multiple stakeholder relationships

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with E1 and Corrigo systems or similar enterprise resource planning platforms, Background in real estate services, facilities management, or professional services industries, Track record of process improvement and system implementation initiatives.
