Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager Engineering to ensure the efficient running of the Engineering Department in line with Hyatt's strategies and brand standards. You will support the Chief Engineer, maintain equipment and facilities, and provide essential services across departments to meet guest, employee and owner expectations.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, building management and technical systems expertise across HVAC, fire protection and water treatment

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Management.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programmes and special projects is valuable.
• Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer to ensure efficient operation of the Engineering Department.
• Support other operating departments and provide required services to the entire operation.
• Maintain equipment, buildings and grounds in optimum condition.

Education

Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Management degree/diploma

Ideally the candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
