Job summary

Guidehouse India is seeking a data analytics professional to join the MIS team in Chennai. You will gather data from primary and secondary sources, maintain databases, and develop dashboards and reports to support decision making across departments.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, 7+ years of experience, and proficiency in Power BI, Excel, VBA, Python, and SQL. You will collaborate with management and external clients to deliver timely analytics outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, information management, statistics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data analytics or data science.
• Strong data analysis and independent client handling.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and VBA/macros experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring upkeep of databases and data systems.
• Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets.
• Cleanse data and scrutinize reports to identify and rectify errors.
• Coordinate with management to align business and informational priorities.
• Responsible for tracking process metrics, SLAs and driving improvement.
• Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.
• Create daily/weekly/monthly reports in MS Excel/Power BI.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to understand business requirements.
• Assist Operations team to consolidate, track and report status of key deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients to meet analytics demands.
