Role Responsibilities

The role looks at supporting the SCMM in delivering the NSV and market share objectives. The role is responsible for execution of customer marketing plans at an outlet level as per the defined goal involving various aspects of ensuring effective brand communication, accurate M&E, running promotion schemes, promotor/vendor management, capability building and managing all documentation to ensure smooth implementation of the plan.

About the team

The role supports the SCMM in delivering NSV and market share objectives and is responsible for execution of customer marketing plans at outlet level, including brand communication, M&E, promotions, promoter/vendor management, capability building and documentation for smooth plan implementation.

Responsibility Areas
  • Outlet management
  • Conduct market recce with Sales team to evaluate and finalize the outlets
  • Ensure installations and its maintenance at vendor outlets; manage bills as per PO
  • Finalise beat as per switch Promotion Plan for outlet mapping and ensure deployment of promotional elements
  • Work towards development and innovations in signage elements (e.g., racks, main shop signage, gondolas)
  • Collate and update TSEs & TLs monthly scores in online & offline portals
  • Prepare and supervise contracts for rental outlets and obtain legal approvals
  • Ensure accurate documentation, supervision of challans, stock register, bills, POs, GRAs and attendance of the sales team
  • Plan and execute POSMs, Display Units, shelf shares for branding and merchandising as per contract and obtain PO payment sign-off
  • Brand communication and visibility; help SCMM develop brand communication options
  • Coordinate with vendors to oversee signage execution across states
  • Execute visibility strategy and monitor visibility execution
  • Choose outlets for implementation in collaboration with the Sales team
  • Utilize outlets as media to drive consumer reach, build brand visibility, create demand through activations, and leverage USL portfolio for sell-in & sell-out
  • Budget management and spend accuracy at state level
  • Coordinate with manpower agency for activities (e.g., claim settlements)
  • Analytics: monitor and report performance and provide actionable insights
  • Provide feedback to regional marketing and sales teams for improvement
  • Train promoters for optimum performance; develop third-party execution force via on-the-job training
  • Induct and train promoters per incentive schemes
  • Ensure sales team alignment to marketing activity and standards via regular communication and meetings
