Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a Credit Analyst to conduct reviews of new and existing clients, assessing creditworthiness across multiple parameters and providing risk ratings.

You will evaluate financial statements, perform ratio analysis, and use third-party tools like D&B for market research, collaborating with clients to manage and escalate issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit reviews for new and existing client requests by assessing creditworthiness across multiple parameters.
• Assign internal customer risk ratings and perform analysis of the client’s business profile, industry outlook, management quality, and financial performance.
• Evaluate financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, with ratio analysis to determine profitability, liquidity, and leverage; recommend credit limits.
• Perform market research using third-party tools like D&B reports to assess business performance, identify trends, interpret ratios, and highlight key risks.
• Collaborate with clients, drive process improvements, maintain the credit review portfolio, and escalate high-risk accounts as needed.

Job description

• Conduct credit reviews for both new and existing client requests by assessing their creditworthiness across multiple parameters. This includes assigning internal customer risk ratings and performing a comprehensive analysis of the client’s business profile, industry outlook, management quality, and financial performance.
• Evaluate financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, along with ratio analysis, to determine profitability, liquidity, and leverage. Based on this assessment, recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Perform market research using third-party tools like D&B reports to assess overall business performance. Possess strong knowledge of financial statements across various industries, with the ability to identify trends, interpret ratios, and highlight key risks.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, drive process improvements, and maintain the credit review portfolio. Proactively identify high-risk accounts and escalated issues as necessary.
