Job summary

EXL in India is seeking a credit risk analyst to conduct credit reviews for new and existing client requests, assess creditworthiness, and assign internal risk ratings.

You will analyze financial statements, perform ratio analysis, research market data, identify risks, and collaborate with clients to drive process improvements and manage the credit review portfolio.

Job description

• Conduct credit reviews for both new and existing client requests by assessing their creditworthiness across multiple parameters. This includes assigning internal customer risk ratings and performing a comprehensive analysis of the client’s business profile, industry outlook, management quality, and financial performance.
• Evaluate financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, along with ratio analysis, to determine profitability, liquidity, and leverage. Based on this assessment, recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Perform market research using third-party tools like D&B reports to assess overall business performance. Possess strong knowledge of financial statements across various industries, with the ability to identify trends, interpret ratios, and highlight key risks.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, drive process improvements, and maintain the credit review portfolio. Proactively identify high-risk accounts and escalate issues as necessary.
