Job summary

Fam in Bangalore is seeking a meticulous finance professional to join our growing team. The role targets a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with hands-on experience in bookkeeping and full-cycle accounting within professional services or CA firms.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, managing AR/AP, monthly reconciliations, using Zoho Books, supporting GST/TDS filings, and preparing P&L, Balance Sheet, and MIS for management.

Qualifications

• CA Inter cleared with 3–5 years in bookkeeping and accounting.
• Experience in professional services or CA firms is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST/TDS and statutory filings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records adhering to standards.
• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including aging analyses.
• Perform monthly bank, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations for data integrity.
• Use Zoho Books for day-to-day accounting, reporting, and automation.
• Assist in GST, TDS filings and year-end audit preparation with organized docs.
• Prepare periodic financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and MIS for management.

About this Role:

We are looking for a meticulous and driven member to join our finance team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong background in professional services (CA firms) and a deep understanding of full-cycle accounting.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions comply with accounting standards
• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including aging analysis and reconciliations
• Perform monthly bank, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Use ZOHO Books for day-to-day accounting, reporting, and process automation
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings, and assist in year-end audit preparation with organized documentation
• Prepare periodic financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and MIS reports for management review
• Semi-Qualified CA (Inter CA cleared)
• 3–5 years of practical experience in bookkeeping and accounting
• Prior exposure to CA firms or managing multiple client accounts/audit assignments is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with ZOHO Books or the ZOHO Finance Suite
• Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, financial modeling)
• Strong understanding of AR/AP cycles, reconciliations, and statutory compliances (GST/TDS)
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tight month-end timelines
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal/external stakeholders
