Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager – Client Partnerships will play a key role in strengthening the analytical, reporting, and business development support backbone of the Client Partnerships function. This is an internal-facing role that partners closely with CP leadership, ED+ stakeholders, and delivery teams to drive pipeline visibility, proposal readiness, collateral consistency, and data-driven decision-making across all business development activities. The incumbent will be expected to operate with a high degree of accuracy, ownership, and proactivity, ensuring that leadership has timely, error-free, and consistent information to support the firm's growth objectives.

What You Will Do
  • Perform recurring and ad-hoc analyses of client portfolio dynamics, including new client acquisition, churn/attrition, downsizes, expansions, and client origination attribution to generate actionable insights for leadership.
  • Monitor pipeline health on an ongoing basis and proactively elevate risks such as stalled opportunities, weakening early-stage activity, or declining conversion trends, along with supporting analysis and recommendations.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, whitespace opportunities, and insights relevant to business development strategy.
  • Support senior stakeholders in developing pitch decks, proposals, and RFP responses for both new business and account-farming initiatives, while tracking opportunities and coordinating outreach across the BD pipeline.
  • Maintain and periodically refresh standard business development collateral, with particular emphasis on AI-embedded solution offerings in collaboration with vertical heads, ensuring consistency of messaging and a unified narrative across all BD materials in alignment with ED+ stakeholders.
  • Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and meeting decks covering sales activity, pipeline progression, lead generation and other key business development metrics.
  • Maintain the CRM system (DealCloud) with real-time accuracy, including opportunity status, lead management activity and pipeline data integrity, ensuring it serves as a reliable single source of truth for leadership.
  • Support CP leadership in shaping and executing the function’s strategic roadmap, and lead process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency, responsiveness and scalability of the Client Partnerships function.
  • Leverage AI tools to automate recurring and daily tasks, including reporting, research synthesis and collateral updates.
  • Collaborate with CP leadership, ED+ stakeholders and delivery/functional teams to ensure alignment of priorities, timelines and messaging, while ensuring all deliverables shared with senior stakeholders are accurate, timely and error-free.
Ideally, You Have
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in client partnerships, business development, account management, or a related field, preferably within a Professional Services firm or a mid-size/multinational environment.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and relationship management skills, with the ability to build credibility and work effectively with senior internal stakeholders across leadership, delivery and functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience contributing to presentations, proposals and business development materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret market and pipeline data and convert insights into practical actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, preferably DealCloud, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word; familiarity with AI productivity tools is a strong advantage.
