Job summary

Accordion India’s Data & Analytics practice in Hyderabad seeks a Performance Management Analyst to drive the planning, execution, and tool management of the performance cycle. You will support goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews, calibration, and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and delivering insights that enable fair, fast, and widely adopted processes.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office with strong Excel (lookup, pivot, conditional formatting).
• Experience with HRIS/PMS systems such as Darwinbox, SuccessFactors, Workday, Keka, Zoho People, or similar.
• Understanding of KRAs/KPIs/OKRs; basic calibration and rating concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong presentation and organizational skills.
• Analytical rigor and learning agility; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance management tool ensuring HRIS data accuracy and project details.
• Create/maintain employee goal sheets (KRAs/OKRs) in the PMS tool; align to org and function OKRs.
• Track completion of self-appraisals and manager reviews; follow up to close gaps.
• Prepare calibration templates, meeting packs, and maintain action logs.
• Validate data for duplicates/missing fields and maintain audit trails.
• Prepare post-cycle analytics (rating distribution and attrition/engagement correlation).
• Maintain SOPs, how-to guides, and training decks for users.
• Build weekly dashboards (coverage, completion, distribution curves, outliers).
• Demonstrate problem-solving and initiative with minimal dependencies; take ownership.

Role overview:

The Performance Management Analyst serves as a specialist in the planning and execution of Performance Management cycle and associated tool management. This position enables a high-quality performance cycle by supporting goal setting, mid-year and year-end performance reviews, calibration, and reporting. The Performance Management Analyst maintains data accuracy, generate insights, and provide operational excellence to drive fairness, speed, and adoption across the organization.

What will you do:

• Manage the performance management tool ensuring HRIS data accuracy and project details
• Create/maintain employee goal sheets (KRAs/OKRs) in the PMS tool; ensure alignment to org and function OKRs.
• Track completion of self-appraisals, manager reviews; follow up to close gaps.
• Prepare calibration templates, meeting packs, and maintain action logs.
• Validate data (duplication, missing fields, mapping errors), maintain evidence logs and audit trails.
• Prepare post-cycle analytics (rating distribution, correlation to attrition/engagement).
• Maintain documentation: SOPs, how-to guides, training decks for users.
• Build weekly dashboards (coverage, completion, distribution curves, outliers).
• Adept in problem solving and analytical skills without any dependencies on individuals or teams. Proactively owns and leads own tasks and is eager to raise the bar with every project.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ideally, you have:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or related software, with solid Excel skills (lookup, pivot, conditional formatting).
• Exposure to any HRIS/PMS (For e.g.: Darwin box/ SuccessFactors/ Workday/ Keka/ Zoho People/ Quantum Workplace etc).
• Understanding of KRAs/KPIs/OKRs; basic familiarity with 9-box, calibration, rating frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and clear written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and process discipline
• Analytical rigor & learning agility
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
