Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in civil engineering from a recognized university.
• 5–8 years of progressive civil engineering project management experience in power/energy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project and other civil software.
• Knowledge of national/international construction codes and safety/environmental regulations.

Assistant Manager - Civil - Projects

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Lead the civil engineering activities from project initiation to commissioning, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints. Site Management: Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring safety protocols, construction methods, and environmental standards are strictly followed in alignment with Adani’s safety-first culture. Technical Supervision: Review and approve civil engineering drawings, designs, and specifications, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices. Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure material procurement, resource allocation, and work execution are aligned with project requirements. Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure all civil works meet the highest standards of quality and durability. Cost Management: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and monitor expenditures to optimize resource utilization without compromising quality or timelines. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to civil construction activities and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, compliance records, and technical documentation to facilitate transparency and audit readiness. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to foster effective communication and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
