Job Summary
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and analytical person to support our finance and capital management operations. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, capital planning, and preparing insightful reports using Excel and Power BI. The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and scenario modelling.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for management and other stakeholders.
- Build and prepare sub‑category level P&L for business decisions.
- Present data‑driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Build forecasting engines using historical data and scenario‑based logic.
- Act as the SPOC for all external financial reporting, including investor decks and quarterly updates.
- Act as a SPOC for all internal stakeholders to ensure data is collated and a real‑time, ready data‑room is maintained.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of metrics shared externally.
- Assist with IPO processes, pitch deck preparation, market research, and preparation for analyst calls.
- Assist in financial prudence assessments for all new initiatives, including geography launches, new product lines, and manufacturing projects.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research.
- Support capital planning and management activities across the business.
- Prepare and monitor capital budgets, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Assist in forecasting cash flows, capital expenditure, and business performance trends.
- Generate and automate reports using Advanced Excel and Power BI dashboards.
- Track capital utilisation, ROI, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, audit requirements, and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- A qualified CA with 1–3 years of experience in finance, fund‑raising, or financial planning roles.
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, dashboards, macros preferred).
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI for data visualization.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of unit economics, cohort behaviour, and asset‑heavy business models. FP&A and business finance experience preferred.
- Ability to understand SQL queries to analyze data preferred.
