Job summary

BINDZ Consulting, an accounting, tax advisory, financial services and technology services firm, invites applications for an Assistant Manager. The role focuses on US tax compliance, leading teams, and coordinating multi‑client engagements from India with hybrid work arrangements.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting/finance, with 5+ years of US tax experience, and proficiency in tax software. Onsite work is required, with a supportive, collaborative environment and career growth

Qualifications

• 5 years + minimum experience in US Income tax compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; Masters, EA, or CPA preferred
• Experience in Pass-Through entity (1065, 1120S) or US C-Corporation tax compliance
• In-depth tax knowledge of US Federal, State and International taxes for Pass-Through entities
• Experience with taxation tools such as CCH, OneSource, Caseware, ProFx, FAS
• Strong English communication; willingness to work onsite

Responsibilities

• Regarded as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit and shares knowledge.
• Develop SOPs and improve internal department procedures.
• Review associates’ engagement deliverables (tax returns, workpapers) and provide feedback.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectively.
• Manage deadlines and multiple assignments with prioritization

Roles & Responsibilities

• Regarded as a Subject Matter Expert within business unit and shares knowledge.
• Make recommendations on internal department procedures , make SOPs.
• Review associates engagement deliverables (such as tax returns, workpapers, etc.); Provide constructive feedback.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectively.
• Work to develop responsible, trained staff by conducting performance feedback and evaluations, additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years + minimum experience in US Income tax compliance is preferred.
• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; Masters, EA, or CPA preferred
• Experience in Pass-Through entity (1065, 1120S) Income Tax Compliance preparation and review Or Experience in U.S. C-Corporation Income Tax Compliance (preparation and review).
• In-depth tax technical knowledge of US Federal, State taxes and International Taxes and issues impacting Pass-Through entities (1065, 1120S).
• Must have experience in any of the taxation tools (CCH, OneSource, Caseware, ProFx, FAS, etc).
• Candidate should have exposure working with Clients directly.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Candidate should be open to working from onsite.
