Job summary

Policybazaar is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Sales to lead a large B2C/Telesales team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on driving sales, achieving targets, and ensuring operational excellence within a technology-driven insurance platform.

You will coach teams, implement sales strategies, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize processes and performance. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring strong leadership and target orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2C Sales / Telesales.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in team handling, preferably managing large teams.
• Experience in outbound/inside sales is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver sales targets.
• Comfortable working in a 6-day working environment with 1 rotational off.
• Immediate joiners or notice period up to 15 days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a B2C/Telesales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Monitor team and individual performance against key sales KPIs.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate Team Leaders and sales executives to improve productivity and conversions.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and achieve business objectives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Handle escalations and ensure smooth resolution of customer and team-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to company processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and review performance reports and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes and overall business performance.
