Job summary

Acuity Analytics in India is seeking a portfolio analyst to calculate and validate hedge fund returns on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring accurate recording in internal databases.

You will review market values, pricing attributes, and borrower data across third-party funds, monitor quarterly borrower performance, and support investment reporting and performance analysis for hedge funds and private debt strategies.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and validate monthly and quarterly hedge fund returns, ensuring accurate recording and maintenance within internal portfolio management databases.
• Review and update market values, pricing data, and key pricing attributes for borrowers held within third-party fund.
• Analyze and evaluate the key characteristics of private credit assets and underlying borrower/loan profiles at the time of origination.
• Monitor borrower performance on a quarterly basis, update relevant portfolio metrics, and prepare insightful commentaries explaining significant changes in financial, operational, and credit-related attributes
• Perform data reconciliation and quality checks across multiple investment platforms and databases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of portfolio information.
• Support portfolio monitoring, investment reporting, and performance analysis activities for alternative investments, including hedge funds and private credit strategies.
• Have a good understanding of hedge funds, private debt and private equity funds, fund-of-funds, private debt strategies (Direct Lending, Co-investment).
