Job summary

Kpmg Delivery Network is seeking a power systems analyst in Bengaluru to support planning, modelling, analysis, and advisory services for power generation, transmission, distribution and HV sectors. Roles & responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide power systems planning, modelling, analysis, and advisory services to clients in the power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial high-voltage sectors.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance understanding of market tools and methodologies
• Assist in performing power systems and energy modelling analyses
• Contribute to data collection, validation, and analysis for power system planning and operational studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables and project outputs

Educational qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters degree preferred)

Key Knowledge & Skills

• Sound understanding of Electrical Power systems
• Knowledge of steady state and dynamic modelling, model development, and generator/network behaviour
• Familiarity with any industry-standard power or energy software (academic or internship experience acceptable)
• Basic programming skills in Python for data analysis and automation
• Proficiency in MS Excel and technical reporting
