Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete and accurate billing for clinical services and procedures.
• Perform pre-bill and post-bill audits to ensure tariff adherence.
• Identify and mitigate revenue leakage and unbilled services.
• Monitor payer-specific billing, deductions, and realization trends.
• Analyze revenue by department, specialty, and services to identify gains.
• Coordinate with Operations, Nursing, Pharmacy, IT, and other departments.
• Lead and mentor the revenue assurance team to improve performance.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Assurance

Ensure complete and accurate billing of all clinical services, consumables, implants, pharmacy, diagnostics, and procedures.
Identify and eliminate revenue leakage.

2. Billing Audit & Internal Controls

Conduct pre-bill and post-bill audits, review high-value bills, package compliance, tariff adherence, and approval controls.

3. Revenue Leakage Identification

Monitor missed charges, unbilled services, package deviations, discounts, waived charges, and documentation gaps.

4. Panel & Payer Revenue Monitoring

Track payer-wise billing, deductions, approvals, pending documentation, and realization trends.

5. Department-wise Revenue Analysis

Analyze performance by specialty, consultant, procedure, OPD/IPD, and diagnostic services. Identify revenue improvement opportunities.

6. Cross-functional Coordination

Work with Operations, Billing, Nursing, Clinical Departments, Pharmacy, Lab, IT, and Marketing to resolve revenue-impacting issues.

7. Team Management

Lead and mentor the revenue assurance/reporting team, monitor productivity, and drive capability building.
